Eugene Poirier set out to establish a business focused on forestry equipment and trucking, leading to the creation of Poirier Enterprise. The company operated out of a warehouse that housed two businesses, Poirier Forestry and Poirier Trucking. The warehouse/shop was primarily purchased to service trucks.

During this period, the business gradually shifted its focus toward the salvage and repair of forestry equipment, laying the foundation for what would eventually become Timberparts Inc.

Recognizing the growing importance of forestry equipment salvage and repair, the decision was made to invest further in this area of the business. Timberparts Inc. was officially established on April 24, 1997, with Eugene Poirier’s son, Marc Poirier, taking over the business. Operations continued out of the original warehouse/shop.

Financing was secured for a new building, setting the stage for the company’s next phase of growth.

Timberparts built a new 16,000-square-foot warehouse alongside a 10-acre salvage yard. The facility was constructed on a newly established road named Armand Road, in honor of Eugene Poirier’s father, Armand Poirier. This location remains Timberparts’ home today.

Terraine Industries acquired Timberparts in March 2023, marking a new chapter in the company's history while continuing its longstanding commitment to the forestry industry. In November 2023, Bob Sears became General Manager and continues to lead the day-to-day management of Timberparts. He previously worked as service manager for over three years.
